Artist Dan Drossman continues to curate and activate the common corridors of the commercial building at 3258 Larimer Street in RiNo, dubbed The Waiting Room Gallery. Two artists will be featured next — A.L. Lummus will be showcased on the 2nd floor with work from her very well-received social commentary exhibit about society’s worship of female self-sacrifice entitled, “Mettle Martyr,” recently shown at Bitfactory Gallery. Annie DeCamp will be on the 3rd floor with a show entitled “Bear Priests Sing Beautiful Songs” in which she draws inspiration from Native American historical and cultural beliefs and their spiritual connections, the relationships between man and animal, preservation, and the complexity of humans and human nature.

Both shows run July 17 through August 13, 2021, with the public invited to opening receptions on Saturday, July 17, from 6 to 10 pm and Sunday, the 18th, from 11 am to 5 pm. Attendees at the receptions will be entered into a drawing to win an original work of art! With the lifting of Covid restrictions, the building is now open to the public Monday-Friday from 9 am to 5 pm or by appointment with Drossman via thewaitingroomdenver@gmail.com.
