February is stout month and we like to think we make one of the Biggest & Baddest stouts around! Join us at Epic Brewing Company on Saturday, February 19th from 3-5PM for a guided tasting built around our Big Bad Baptist Imperial Stout with Head Brewer Chris Velazquez and Cellar & Barrel Manager Jake Wright.

The tasting includes 8oz pours of eight unique Baptist variations from the base beer - before it’s put into barrels - all the way up to Sextuple Barrel Baptist, which features 6 different barrel-aged ingredients. Along the way, Head Brewer Chris will review the essential processes in how Big Bad Baptist comes together from malts & hops sourced from all across the globe to our crystal clean Rocky Mountain water and our unique line of yeast. Cellar & Barrel Manager Jake will tell you how he cares for the beer from base to barrel, quality control processes, and how his team completes final blending. We’ll even taste unreleased beer straight from the barrel. The experience is designed for everyone from craft beer novice to certified cicerones to be engaged throughout the entire tasting.

Each guest will take home some brewery keepsakes including a stemmed glass and a bottle of vintage 2018 Quadruple Barrel Baptist. Snacks will be provided and we’ll end the evening with a special cupcake pairing provided by local baker Jess Desormeaux best known for her delectable creations at Work & Class.

The tasting will take place in the cellar among the fermenters. Please wear closed-toed shoes. Limited space & proof of vaccination will be required for this event. Seating capped at 30. Tickets must be purchased at the time of booking your reservation & 24 hours advanced notice for cancellation please. Use this link to purchase tickets.
