We'll make a quilt every step of the way together. This pattern, the on-point quilt, may look complicated to construct, but once you learn the technique, you'll discover that it's super fun and will surely want to make more. I, myself, will always have an affinity for it, because it's the first pattern I ever made. I have probably made it fifteen or twenty times since then. I love it so much, and I know you will too.
In the class, every step of the quilting process will be covered. You'll design, you'll cut, you'll piece, then quilt and bind! Once you have the skills, then you're off to make these as you please, in any and all sizes from baby quilts to lap quilts on up. Adjusting the pattern is easy once you make the first one!
We provide everything you need, from the sewing machines to the fabric and batting.
Only a few spots available. Open to those who sew at the level of Advanced Beginner/Intermediate and up.
This class takes about 4 hours, so bring snacks and drinks for yourself, because we'll sew straight through.
Note: If you would like to bring your own machine, make sure you bring its respective components for ease of use. You will need a walking foot to quilt and bind it. Depending on the model, we may be able to support you in using it, if you are unsure.
