In this two-part series we'll learn the "how to's" of wheat paste art and, working with mentor artist Kristina Maldonado Bad Hand, we will create a mural project in the RiNo Art District. Student facilitators from the Youth Celebrate Diversity organization will brainstorm with us on ways to transform social justice and inclusion conversations into provocative visual arts.
Students will have the choice of an in-person (April 5th, 5–7pm at Converge) or virtual planning session (April 12th, 5–7pm), with mural installation on April 23rd, 11am-2pm - lunch provided!
