RedLine Contemporary Art Center presents an artist lecture with Mexico City-based artist Enrique López Llamas, in partnership with Black Cube Nomadic Art Museum.
López Llamas works across painting, sculpture, installation, video, and performance, drawing on art history, memory, humor, and personal experience. He will discuss his artistic process and The Magician, a new 25-foot-long kinetic sculpture featured in his exhibition A million more things to keep me awake at Black Cube Headquarters in Englewood.
A Q&A with Black Cube Executive Director and Chief Curator Cortney Lane Stell will follow.
