By appropriating one of the most ubiquitous logotypes in consumer culture, Swanson reframes the word “Other” as a monumental presence, elevating a term often used to marginalize into one that demands visibility. This conversation will delve into the power of otherness, the politics of signage, and the poetics of language in public spaces.
