Baby Bugs, founded by Bowie, channels personal experiences of religious trauma and emotional abuse into heartfelt alternative music. Raised on bluegrass and church hymns, Bowie discovered songwriting as a way to express complex emotions. In 2021, at just 18, they released their debut single “Hey Bunny”, which amassed over 2 million streams in its first 60 days, prompting Bowie to continue creating music aimed at helping listeners facing similar struggles.

Baby Bugs will perform with Elliot Lee at Larimer Lounge on Tuesday, May 12th.
