Build a strong foundation in ceramics by learning both wheel throwing and handbuilding in this six-week beginner course with ceramic artist Ethan. The class splits time between the pottery wheel and handbuilding techniques, giving participants experience with both approaches to creating functional and sculptural forms.
The course includes six 2.5-hour sessions, clay, access to community tools, and up to seven finished ceramic pieces. Additional finished pieces may be kept for an extra fee.
Classes meet Tuesdays from 10 AM–12:30 PM, July 28 through September 1, at Community Clay. No prior experience is required.
Classes are non-refundable 1 week before the first class begins. We cannot give full or partial refunds for classes missed.
