Awards: 1st place $100, 2nd place $75, 3rd place $50, plus up to three Honorable Mentions. Lakewood Arts charges a 25% commission on sold work.
Lakewood Arts invites Colorado artists to submit original 2D or 3D artwork for Artist's Choice, an open-theme exhibition welcoming all styles and fine art media. Artists may submit up to three works, with a maximum width of 30 inches. Work must be original, for sale, and suitable for a family-friendly venue; nude artwork will not be accepted. Previously exhibited work at a Lakewood Arts exhibition is not eligible.
Timeline:
- September 9, 2026: Online registration deadline
- September 12, 2026, 9:30 AM: Artwork delivery and installation
- September 12, 2026, 2 PM: Pickup of unaccepted work, if called
- September 12, 2026–January 2, 2027: Exhibition
Application Fee
Non-members: $15 per work or $40 for up to three. Lakewood Arts members: $10 per work or $25 for up to three.
How to Apply
Complete registration and pay the entry fee online, in the gallery, or by mail. Registration must be received by September 9. Email digital images to Emi Burr at ekburrdesign@gmail.com with the artist name, title, medium, size, and price for each work.
