Aurora Public Library seeks Colorado artists with completed, hang-ready artwork for temporary, multi-month exhibitions at Tallyn's Reach Library during the 2027 exhibition cycle. The first-floor gallery wall measures 8 feet high by 21 feet 3 inches wide and can accommodate approximately 4–8 artworks, depending on size. Work must be durable, suitable for interior display, and compatible with a hanging wire system.
Timeline:
- September 21, 2026, 11:59 PM MDT: Application deadline
- Week of September 25, 2026: Finalists notified
- Week of October 6, 2026: Multi-level approval completed
- 2027: Exhibition dates scheduled according to artist preference
Eligibility
Open to artists who reside in Colorado. Artists with connections to Aurora are encouraged to apply.
How to Apply
Apply through the CaFÉ system. Submit 4–10 images or videos of completed work, a résumé of no more than two pages, a statement of interest, brief bio, and preferred exhibition slots. Conceptual proposals, renderings, and AI-generated images will not be reviewed.
