The City of Englewood seeks artists and teams to transform traffic signal boxes into colorful public artworks that reflect neighborhood identity and community character. Artists are encouraged to draw inspiration from Englewood's parks, restaurants, downtown, and small-town atmosphere. A provided color palette is available as a guide, but artists may incorporate additional colors.
Timeline:
- July 27, 2026: Applications open
- September 13, 2026: Applications close
- October 7, 2026: Cultural Arts Commission selects artists
Compensation
$500 stipend per selected artist/team
