As part of the Denver Art Museum’s contribution to Colorado’s 150th anniversary, they’re launching their first-ever art fair on August 1, 2026. The Colorado Day Art Market will transform the museum plaza into a one-day outdoor market featuring around 40 Colorado artists and artisans showcasing and selling original work across a range of mediums.

Timed alongside a Free Day at the museum—and additional programming from nearby cultural institutions—this event is expected to draw many visitors, creating a high-energy, high-visibility opportunity for participating artists.

Artists are selected through a blind jury process, with a focus on original, handcrafted work made by Colorado-based creatives. A limited number of discounted spots are available for emerging artists.

This is an outdoor, rain-or-shine event, and selected artists will manage their own booth setup and sales, keeping 100% of their revenue.

Find the Colorado Day Art Market event information and application here. Applications are open now and will be accepted through May 6, 2026. (If you aren't familiar with ZAPPlication, it’s free to join and makes applying to art fairs and markets much easier!)
