The Colorado Creates Grant provides general operating support for arts-focused nonprofit organizations across Colorado, helping sustain public programming and strengthen long-term impact. Funding is awarded in flat amounts based on an organization’s most recent fiscal year revenue, with grants ranging from $6,000 to $14,000.

Designed to advance artistic excellence and community access, the program supports organizations presenting visual, performing, literary, and media arts. Eligible applicants must be Colorado-based 501(c)(3) arts organizations (or qualifying independent components) with at least two years of public programming and a minimum $25,000 operating budget.

Applications open February 3 and close May 5, 2026, with funding supporting activities through June 2027.
