Interdisciplinary artist and RedLine Resident Alum Regan Rosburg has been developing her ongoing, socially engaged project, "Dear Future," as an intentional act of self-reflection and community connection, in opposition to censorship. Since 2017, Rosburg has collected over 1,000 handwritten letters from around the world, compiled in her anonymous digital archive.
Inspired by her current exhibition on view at RedLine, "The New Gilded Age," which connects climate change to our current socio-political climate, Rosburg offers participants the opportunity to channel their thoughts and emotions into a letter.
Letters can take the form of a memory, drawing, poem, or rant, and can be addressed to someone specific, or to the future itself. In exchange, each participant will receive a small bottle of rain-scented moss as a token of gratitude from the artist.
