Easily Digestible is a solo exhibition by Denver interdisciplinary artist Matt Tripodi that offers a fresh take on formal abstraction through humor and everyday objects. Using fruits, snack foods, and pantry staples as his subjects, Tripodi crops and magnifies familiar items into expressive fields of color that blur the line between representation and abstraction.
Balancing playful concepts with skilled painterly mark-making, the exhibition invites viewers to take a closer look at the beauty and complexity hidden within ordinary foods.
The exhibition is on view August 7–September 20, with gallery hours Tuesday–Sunday, 4–11 PM.
