Lane Meyer Projects presents Easily Digestible, a solo exhibition by Denver artist Matt Tripodi, curated by Drew Austin. The exhibition features a new series of paintings that play with the conventions of formal abstraction through cropped and magnified depictions of fruit, classic snack foods, and charcuterie ingredients.
Created with spray paint, airbrush, acrylic, and mixed media on cotton rag, the works balance humor and technical precision. Familiar foods become fields of saturated color and expressive mark-making, inviting viewers to look beyond the joke and consider ideas of beauty, craft, still life, and the passage of time.
The exhibition is on view August 7–September 20, 2026, with the gallery open during First Friday on Friday, August 7, from 4–11 PM.
