This comic play dives headfirst into the beautiful mess of growing up in the 1970s South—big hair, beauty shop wisdom, and the fine art of proper etiquette. Funny, sharp, and often tender, it captures those awkward, electric in-between moments of coming of age when beliefs wobble, identities crack open, and a young woman realizes that poise, posture, and most of what she’s been taught are, in fact, complete nonsense. It invites audiences into a world of resilience, contradiction, and the exact moment we begin to question the voices that raised us. A love letter to missteps, survival, and becoming yourself—whether or not you’re ready to yell “Roll Tide”.
