Heritage School of Interior Design’s Fundamentals of Interior Design Certification program builds a foundation in design principles and elements, color theory, space planning, construction documents, lighting, and socially responsible design. Through project-based learning, students develop residential design concepts and presentation skills, culminating in a complete home renovation project.

Weekly field visits to showrooms, design studios, and manufacturing spaces provide opportunities to connect with industry professionals and learn about the field. Students also work with AI tools to support their creative process and explore emerging applications in interior design. Students who successfully complete the program receive a Fundamentals of Interior Design Certification.

24-Week Part-Time Evening Program — Winter/Spring 2027

12-Week Full-Time Program — Winter 2027

• Days: Monday–Wednesday
• Course Hours: 9 AM–2:30 PM
• Studio Hours: 2:30–4:30 PM
• Dates: January 4–March 24, 2027
• No Class: February 15
