Kick off DENVER WALLS with a curated exhibition from local artist Anthony Garcia Sr.

This exhibition features local, national and international artists that are leading contributors to the Post-Vandalism and Graffiti-Futurism street art and mural movements. Curated by Anthony Garcia Sr, who is the Founder/Director of Alto Gallery and Birdseed Collective as well as a contributor to the genre, Garcia Sr. is surveying some of the artists and styles that inspired him to become an artist, as well as honoring and acknowledging how street art, mural and graffiti art was for many the first exposure to the Fine Arts. Though the genre emerged and is experienced beyond the confines of museums, institutions and galleries; it continues to claim a space that is accessible and inspiring to all. Making Our Mark therefore seeks to highlight artists of the ever-evolving street, mural and graffiti art communities that interact, challenge and re-define the boundaries that exist between interior/exterior, inside/outside, and permission/prohibition in both public and private spaces.

Opening Reception: September 23, 6–9pm
Artist Panel in Collaboration with RiNo Denver Walls: September 24, 1–3pm

RedLine would like to thank the partnership and support with the River North Art District for their support of this conversation and exhibition!
