“Just One Thing” is any but—it is a lively retrospective that brings together a personal selection of past work alongside fan favorites showcasing Maes' diverse styles. Expect bold colors, cheeky humor, clean lines, and inventive approaches across mediums. Hosted by Frisian Auto Gallery—using the walls of its expansive car showroom to display the some of the region’s most exciting artists—the exhibition runs May 2 through June 26, 2025, and is viewable during showroom hours (Tues–Sat, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.). The public is also invited to special First Friday events, which feature music, food trucks and refreshments. Maes will not be in attendance at the May opening but he will be at the artist reception in June.
