Join us at Community Clay for a special handbuilding workshop inspired by the technique of inlay. In this class, you'll learn how to stack and layer colored clays to create bold designs. Play with color in celebration of Pride Month!

You'll start with a piece of paper and pencil to sketch your design. Using handbuilding techniques, you'll press pieces of colored clay and then roll them into your slab of white or speckled clay. Use your slab to create plates, an altar or other object. No experience needed, the design is built directly into the clay.

We'll glaze and fire your piece(s) and have them available for pick up in about 3 weeks.

Perfect for beginners and experienced artists alike, this workshop is a playful, process-focused exploration of pattern, color, and form.
