This six-week course introduces the practical, legal, ethical, and professional considerations involved in running an interior design business. Students will explore business structures, professional documents, collaboration with related disciplines, project management, marketing, and job placement.

The course also includes development of a professional portfolio, which students will present as their final project.

Prerequisites:

• Fundamentals of Interior Design or equivalent industry experience
• Digital Presentation or equivalent industry experience

Schedule: Wednesdays, 9–11 AM, October 28–December 9, 2026 (no class November 25)
