Create a handmade ceramic flower frog, a functional piece designed to rest on top of a vase, glass, or jar and hold flower stems upright for easy arranging. The same piece can also be used to store or strip herbs for cooking.

This workshop is intended for sapphic community members, including lesbian, bi, pansexual, queer, and trans women, as well as other women-aligned people who feel at home in sapphic spaces.

Participants will shape and decorate their flower frogs using handbuilding techniques and pottery tools rather than a wheel. Each participant receives one pound of clay, a mason jar, and materials and tools to create as many flower frogs as the clay allows. Finished pieces will be glazed and fired, making them watertight and food safe, and will be ready for pickup approximately three weeks after the class.

No prior pottery experience is required. 18+.

Cost: $75 per person.
