Visions West Contemporary is honored to present a retrospective exhibition of acclaimed American artist Theodore Waddell. Spanning decades of his prolific career, this exhibition will showcase a diverse selection of Waddell's work, including his renowned paintings, works on paper, and sculpture. This comprehensive exhibition provides an intimate look at Waddell's exploration of the Western landscape and his signature depictions of cattle and horses, which have become iconic elements of his visual language.

Theodore Waddell's work is deeply rooted in his experiences as a rancher in Montana and reflects his love of the vast, rugged beauty of the American West. His abstracted, painterly interpretations of animals and landscapes offer a unique perspective that merges modernism with the spirit of the West. In addition to his expansive paintings, this retrospective will also feature works on paper and sculpture, highlighting the breadth of his artistic vision.

Join us for the opening reception on October 11th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM to celebrate this important exhibition, which honors Waddell's contributions to contemporary Western art.

Outside Event: Book signing at the Denver Art Museum, Friday, October 11th, 3:00 pm
