Sijia Chen Studio is seeking two Denver-area emerging artists to collaborate on a permanent public art commission for Denver Fire Department Station 40. As part of the Shared Vision Project, selected artists will participate in community workshops and work alongside Sijia Chen Studio to create an original papercut-inspired digital design that will be incorporated into the final civic artwork. The opportunity is open to emerging artists from a variety of visual disciplines, with no prior public art experience required. Artists with connections to the Montbello or Green Valley Ranch communities are especially encouraged to apply.
Compensation
Selected artists will receive a $1,250 honorarium for workshop participation, design development, and final design delivery.
