Lost Girls, a solo exhibition by artist Zoe Hawk, explores the complex experience of girlhood, examining feminine identity, adolescent anxiety, and the search for belonging. At first glance, the paintings appear sweet and familiar: candy-colored, nostalgic vignettes of girls camping, playing, and dancing. Closer inspection reveals narratives that take a mysterious or unsettling turn, moving between innocence and curiosity, uncertainty and fear, to delve into both the wonder and heartbreak of coming of age.

The figures inhabit self-contained worlds, acting out intimate dramas in landscapes that feel at once theatrical and dreamlike. Wild forests, open fields, and vast skies mirror interior emotional states and the apprehension of the unknown, while the figures' clothing functions as costumes of feminine identity. Suspended between childhood and adulthood, the works reflect on the fragile, transformative moments when innocence begins to give way to experience.

The exhibition is on view during regular gallery hours, Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM. For November First Friday on November 6, gallery hours are extended until 8 PM.
