Our Roots

Jedd Rose and Mark Hansen always wished a company would make outdoor gear like the kind they grew up using — durable, functional, and classic. In 2008, Jedd bought a sewing machine and began sewing packs in his Fort Collins basement. Meanwhile, Mark went looking for resources and other Colorado folks who could bring those designs to life. From this creativity and community, Topo Designs was born.
