Old school 1930s style pool hall, bar and lounge in RiNo’s Art Alley.

Gerard’s is a Victorian-inspired pool hall and saloon inspired by those that were in Colorado at the turn of the century, with a twist of today with a back alley entrance next to a custom Crush mural (image below) that was produced and installed by Robin Munro (@_dreadgod_) and MPEK (@mpek36). With an eclectic background (he spent ten years working in the antiques department for designer Ralph Lauren), Gerard (image right) was nearing 60 when business partner Ken Wolf approached him about opening a pool hall and saloon in the alley near Denver Central Market.

When the pool hall opened in June 2017, Gerard wanted to create a place where people could come play pool but also a place where folks could gather to enjoy a great cocktail in good company. The result is a something magical and unexpected with a heartfelt sense of community - Gerard’s even hosted a wedding in the fall of 2018 - filled with regulars and newcomers alike.

Gerard’s is located at 1305 26th St in the alley between Walnut and Larimer. Operating hours are Sunday – Wednesday from noon – midnight and Thursday – Saturday from noon – 2 a.m. Table prices range from $5/hour - $18/hour depending on the day and time. The bar offers a broad selection of beers, cocktails and wine and is home to a daily happy hour from 4–6 p.m. offering $1 off all beers, wines and wells. Hot dogs and snacks are served on premise and those craving more can order from Vero located inside Denver Central Market.
