As whims and passions allow...as I mentioned: I am a multimedia multicultural artist-mama who works in clay, pencil, paint and film. I imagine futures as I infuse memory. I bake fantasy and the whispers of generations into sweet potato tarts. I tell stories of Anansi and of wandering DNA, and I teach language and art through the lens of culture and freedom of expression. I am the artist Kurokiku, The Black Chrysanthemum. Welcome.
