Located in the heart of Denver’s RiNo Art District, Studios on Blake offers dedicated, affordable workspace for working artists within the vibrant Backyard on Blake creative campus. This collection of private studios was developed to support and sustain artists in one of the city’s fastest-evolving cultural districts, ensuring that creative production remains central to RiNo’s identity.

RiNo Art District is proud to offer a limited number of subsidized studios at RAD Studios, made possible through support from the RiNo Business Improvement District (BID). These spaces exist for one reason: to keep working artists rooted in the neighborhoods that RiNo Art District overlays—providing meaningful access to workspace in a rapidly changing area.

The space includes a series of individual studios designed for a range of visual art practices. Each studio features high ceilings, natural light, and the character of RiNo’s industrial architecture, creating an inspiring environment for focused studio work. Shared amenities include a communal kitchen, utility areas, and 24/7 secure access, allowing artists the flexibility to work on their own schedules.

Studios on Blake is best suited for painters, illustrators, and mixed-media artists seeking a clean, professional workspace. Due to building limitations, the studios are not equipped for heavy fabrication or processes that require specialized ventilation or equipment.

While primarily a working studio environment, Studios on Blake also plays a role in connecting artists with the broader community. The studios periodically open to the public during district-wide events like First Fridays, offering opportunities for visitors to engage directly with artists and experience work in progress.
