LOCATION: RiNo ArtPark - 1900 35th St
CATEGORIES: Art Events | First Fridays | ArtPark
UPCOMING DATE AND TIME:
- Friday, Dec 4, 2026 7pm
Gather on the ArtPark plaza for a one-of-a-kind dual lighting celebration that puts a creative spin on neighborhood holiday traditions.
The ceremony begins at 6:30 p.m. as artist Shayna Cohn illuminates a monumental, artist-crafted Menorah to commemorate the first night of Hanukkah. Attendees can enjoy complimentary traditional latkes and jelly donuts (sufganiyot) while supplies last.
At 7:00 p.m., the crowd will count down to the debut lighting of Denver’s first Traffic Cone Tree—a towering holiday sculpture designed by Brian Buikema (C8 Productions), built from bright orange traffic cones and crowned with RiNo’s signature rhino.
Surrounding the ceremonies, Deep Space Drive-In will project dynamic light visuals across the ArtPark silos and grounds, with music from DJ Stevie and Something Vinyl Club, and roaming interactive antics by Handsome Little Devils.
It's all part of the kick-off to our three-day winter festival, It's A RiNo-FUL Life!
