Join us at Alto Gallery on Wednesday, April 23rd at 6 - 8 PM for a FREE evening of collaborative art-making with fiber, collage, and living color. Botanical Bonds fiber artist Catherine Owens will provide a stack of quirky geometric paintings featuring natural pigment watercolors and her homemade plant inks, and printmaker Raymundo Muñoz will provide several of his iconic tree bark prints. From these building blocks, participants will layer their own creative adornments onto the paintings using collage and basic embroidery techniques to create a one-of-a-kind piece of artwork to take home.
