Kick off the winter season on December First Friday at RiNo ArtPark with an evening of artist-made light sculptures, live music, creative workshops, and festive community traditions.

The evening begins outdoors on the plaza with back-to-back lighting ceremonies: Shayna Cohn illuminates a monumental artist-crafted menorah at 6:30 p.m. to mark the first night of Hanukkah—complete with complimentary latkes and jelly donuts while supplies last—followed by the 7:00 p.m. lighting of Denver's first traffic cone tree designed by Brian Buikema (C8 Productions).

Throughout the night, Deep Space Drive-In animates the ArtPark silos and murals with dynamic projections, DJ Stevie and Something Vinyl Club provide the soundtrack, and roaming performers from Handsome Little Devils bring interactive fun across campus. Inside Truss House, join artist Lucy Holtsnider from 5:00 to 8:30 p.m. for a free hands-on printmaking session to craft keepsake holiday cards and browse handmade gifts and goods from local artisan booths.

Made-to-order Belgian Liège waffles and specialty hot chocolates from Tom’s Waffles and festive drinks from the Truss House craft bar will be available all evening.
