Artist Jeremy Burns will restore Larimer Boy/Girl, the iconic optical-illusion mural he first painted in 2015 on the finned exterior of a Larimer Street building. After years of accumulated tagging obscured the original design, the mural was recently buffed by a city graffiti-removal crew.
Burns will bring the mural back to life with the help of collaborators and support from RiNo Art District. The restoration will take place live during Art RiNo Festival, (and right down the street from the Mural Jam) giving the public an opportunity to watch the work unfold as part of the festival’s public art programming.
