RiNo Eats

October 2 | 6–9 PM | Truss House

The weekend kicks off with RiNo Eats, a 21+ culinary tasting experience bringing together 11 RiNo-area restaurants for one night of food, art, music, and live performance.

Guests can sample tasting portions throughout the evening while taking in a historic neon sign exhibition presented in collaboration with Save the Signs, a Colorado organization dedicated to documenting and preserving historic signage.

The entertainment lineup includes Golden Bell, a DJ and live-band fusion featuring drums and horn; aerial performances from Circus Foundry; and interactive improv pop-ups from OddKnock Productions.

Participating restaurants: Barcelona Wine Bar, Butcher Block Cafe, Cimera, Corsica Wine Bar, Lunchboxx, Major Tom, Odie B’s, Pit Fiend Barbecue, River, Rooftop Social at Vīb Hotel, and Uptown & Humboldt.

Art RiNo Festival

October 3 | 1–8 PM | RiNo ArtPark
1900 35th St

Saturday brings the Art RiNo Festival to RiNo ArtPark for a free, all-ages day of live music, public art, artist-led experiences, workshops, local makers, food vendors, open studios, and community programming.

The festival opens with a full afternoon of programming anchored by the outdoor Mainstage, curated by Tohbias Juniel.

KANNA will close out the festival with a DJ set inside Truss House.

Artist Activations & Creative Experiences

There’s plenty happening between sets, with artist-led workshops, demonstrations, tours, performances, and hands-on activities throughout the park and Truss House.

Hollow Kelley presents A Hand in Creation, an immersive theater workshop centered on creative expression and participation. Cirque Gravizoides leads partner acrobatics demonstrations and workshops, while Raw Groove offers line dancing for any skill level, blending country, R&B, soul, and popular dances.

Visitors can explore RiNo ArtPark’s murals with Denver Graffiti Tour, follow Mr. Hanimal on a whimsical tour through the lore of the park, and watch JJ Bebout demonstrate the craft of neon glass bending alongside hand-painted sign demonstrations.

The festival also features roaming performances by OddKnock Productions and La-Di-Da-Di Claudius, a curated market of local artists and makers, and a zine-making station hosted by Denver Zine Library at the Bob Ragland Branch of the Denver Public Library.

Food and beverage vendors include Cluckin’ Hot Chicken, Cubanaso, and Javi Rey’s, with additional community organizations and vendors throughout the park.

Inside the RiNo ArtPark Welcome Center & Gallery, visitors can see select works from the Welcome Back exhibition and visit open artist studios throughout the festival.

Beers Made By Walking

October 4 | RiNo ArtPark + Truss House
3400 Arkins Ct

The weekend concludes with Beers Made By Walking, a project founded by artist Eric Steen that asks brewers to step outside the brewhouse, walk a particular landscape, and turn what they encounter into beer.

For the RiNo edition, seven Denver-area breweries joined Steen for a July walk through the district exploring murals, native plants, public art, ecology, and neighborhood history, giving the brewers creative and place-based inspiration for their beers.

The resulting beers will be unveiled at a 21+ public tasting on Sunday afternoon, creating a series of drinkable portraits of RiNo as experienced by each brewer.

Sunday Schedule

The tasting includes a commemorative Beers Made By Walking glass. Guests should be prepared to show a valid ID at check-in.

Live Mural Painting Across RiNo Art District

Art RiNo extends beyond RiNo ArtPark with live mural painting happening across the district throughout the weekend, continuing RiNo Art District's long-running fall mural festival tradition.

Visitors can watch artists work in real time, see new public art develop over the course of the weekend, and experience the process behind the murals that become part of RiNo's streetscape.

Mural Jam with tukeone & Collaborators

October 2–4 | Graffiti Gardens Alley + Denver Central Market lot
2669 Larimer St

Six artists will come together for a three-day live Mural Jam at Graffiti Gardens Alley and the Denver Central Market lot, creating new work throughout Art RiNo weekend.

Participating Artists:

Led by Denver muralist tukeone, the artists will work together over the course of the weekend, giving visitors a chance to drop in, watch the process, and see the mural develop day by day.

The Mural Jam is free and open to the public.

Boy/Girl Mural Restoration

October 2–4 | Larimer Street

Artist Jeremy Burns will return to Larimer Street to repaint his Boy/Girl mural, restoring a familiar piece of RiNo's public art landscape.

The restoration is part of Art RiNo's return to live mural painting and gives visitors another opportunity to see a public artwork being created in real time.

Moe Gram 

October 3 | RiNo ArtPark
1900 35th St

Local artist Moe Gram will create a new mural at RiNo ArtPark as part of the Saturday festival programming.

Inspired by Colorado's golden-hour skies, Denver's streets, and everyday moments of friendship and community, the work reflects Gram's vision of a broader definition of American culture and Americana.

All mural activations are free and open to the public.

Parking Information

There is no dedicated festival parking lot, but street parking is often available throughout the surrounding neighborhood, particularly along:

• Delgany St
• 35th St
• Arkins Ct

Please pay attention to posted parking signs and residential restrictions.

There are several paid parking garages and lots located within a short walk of the venue, including:

• Catalyst Parking Garage (3508 Delgany St) — .3 mile from the ArtPark (see below for discounted rate!)
• The Current Garage (3615 Delgany St) — .2 mile from the ArtPark
• Rev 360 Garage (3725 Wynkoop St) — .5 mile from the ArtPark
• T3 Garage (3500 Blake St) — .9 mile from the ArtPark
• The Hub Garage (3601 Walnut St) —  .8 mile from the ArtPark
• 3501 Walnut Street Lot (3501 Walnut St) — 1 mile from the ArtPark

Getting Here by Bike or On Foot

RiNo is one of Denver’s most bike-friendly neighborhoods, with bike lanes in both directions on Blake St and Larimer St, protected bike lanes on Brighton Blvd., and multiple pedestrian bridges connecting both sides of the rail lines.

That said, rail crossings in the district can occasionally present challenges for cyclists and guests with mobility needs. The elevators at the 35th St and 38th St pedestrian bridges are operated by RTD and occasionally experience outages. (Contact them here with concerns.)

We recommend checking your route in advance and allowing extra travel time if you’re biking or using mobility devices.

Public Transit

If arriving by bus, take the 48 line to the Brighton Blvd. & 35th Street stop. The ArtPark is one block west on 35th Street. 

If arriving by train, take the A Line to 38th & Blake Station. From there, use the pedestrian bridge south of the station to cross the tracks, then head west along 35th St, crossing Brighton Blvd to reach RiNo ArtPark. The walk from the station is approximately 10–15 minutes.

We’re continuing to improve festival signage and wayfinding as the First Friday Festival series grows. If you experience accessibility barriers or have suggestions that would improve future events, we welcome your feedback. (events@rinoartdistrict.org)

RiNo Art District is a nonprofit arts organization producing the festival series, but some surrounding infrastructure — including bridges, elevators, sidewalks, and transit facilities — is maintained by city and regional partners. Community feedback helps us advocate for a more connected and accessible district for everyone.
