Louisville, Kentucky's Mama Said String Band brings its blend of bluegrass, folk, and Americana to Denver. The four-piece combines upright bass, guitar, mandolin, strings, and four-part vocal harmonies with contemporary arrangements and influences that also draw from Appalachian, classical, and jazz traditions.
The band has earned honors including Bluegrass Artist of the Year from the Lexington Music Awards and Best Bluegrass Band from the Appalachian Arts and Entertainment Awards. The group recently announced its new album, Two Halves.
All ages; guests under 16 must be accompanied by a ticketed guardian age 21+.
