Semiotic Object; (belonging) is a group exhibition exploring the intersection of word and image through creative traditions including bookmaking, sign painting, and graffiti. The featured works consider different forms of communication, expression, and statement.

Featuring text in Tagalog, Korean, Japanese, Spanish, Russian, and English, the exhibition reflects on language as a marker of belonging. Together, the works recognize the many languages and cultures that are present, visible, and at home in a shared place.
