Nocturne is thrilled to present a night of dynamic and groundbreaking original music with the Stephen Philip Harvey Octet. This ensemble was revived post-pandemic with new compositions and a new line-up of musicians. Boasting their own individual touring histories, the octet assembles their combined musical talents to bring a bold voice to Harvey’s writing. With a rotating roster of dynamic musicians, SPH8 showcases the immense musicianship located throughout these regions. This show will feature an all-star lineup of Denver players, led by Stephen: Remy Le Boeuf (alto sax), Shawn Williams (trumpet), Zach Rich (trombone), Tim Wendel (guitar), Dawn Clement (piano), Hunter Roberts (bass), and Dru Heller (drums).
