OddKnock Productions is an immersive dance and theater company that specializes in creating original performance experiences in unconventional venues. Directed by Brendan Duggan, Zach Martens, and Parker Murphy, their work focuses on reimagining the relationship between the performer and audience, coupled with a healthy interrogation of how immersive theater is produced.

We are committed to supporting the artists that build each immersive world to allow them to do what they do best: make magic. That means transparency, advocating for our collaborators, a healthy work environment, and building each production with robust financial strategies.  A flourishing artistic atmosphere is only possible through a firm economic foundation and the business infrastructure to encourage growth.

Each founder of OddKnock Productions comes from an extensive and diverse background in the immersive theater industry, boasting experience as creators, producers, and performers in successes such as:

Sleep No More • The Grand Paradise • Casa Bonita • The Unbrunch • Camp Christmas • The Cook, The Thief, His Wife, & Her Lover • HERE • The Lost Supper • Eschaton • EXTINCT

Their most successful production, From on High, was named the “Best Immersive Theater Production of 2022” by Westword, celebrated as one of the “Best Immersive Experiences of 2022” by No Proscenium, and was recently featured in the Emmy Award winning series IMMERSIVE.WORLD on PBS.

OddKnock Co-Founders, Brendan Duggan, Parker Murphy, and Zach Martens have over 30 years of dance and theater performance and creation between them. Their work as individuals and as a collective has been showcased across the country in numerous theaters, arts districts, and festivals. Outside of their roles as creators, OddKnock’s founding members have additional backgrounds in arts education, film and television, and arts administration.
