How artists, music, light, and community transformed RiNo ArtPark during Brilliant RiNo's summer solstice celebration.
On Saturday, June 20, the RiNo Art District welcomed the summer solstice with Brilliant RiNo, an art party celebrating the longest day of the year. Here are ten of the ways that Brilliant RiNo transformed RiNo Art Park with light and joy!

#1: Art as the Heart of the Party
For the RiNo Art District, the art is central for a reason. “We don't just want to consume experiences — we want to genuinely connect through creativity and shared ecstatic moments,” says RAD Executive Director Daisy Fodness-McGowan.
#2: Light & Color
Denver-based immersive design studio Deep Space Drive-In lit up the Truss House with large-scale projection mapping and experimental visual environments. Visual artists Drew Austin, Andy DiLallo, Eren Autumn, and Anna Ghublikian created pop-up projection works exploring illumination, reflection, color, and transformation.

#3: Live Music by Day
Before the sun set, Agent Jazz set the tone. This Denver quartet blends jazz standards, blues rock, spy-film soundtracks, and New Orleans rhythms.
#4: A DJ Set by Night
Something Vinyl Club provided the soundtrack for the evening’s transition into its vibrant night mode.
#5: Culinary Artistry
Food is art! Local vendors Taconation, Denver Pops, Downtown Fingers, and Mukja helped invoke every sense.
#6: A Roaming Circus
Cirque-style performers Sara VonGillern and Bryan Connolly added movement, light, and moments of surprise.

#7: Aura Photography
What color is your soul? Ignite Your Aura created one-of-a-kind keepsakes awash with light.
#8: An Automated Taco Machine
Presenting sponsor KeyBank rode up in the style: with their bike-powered Automated Thank You Machine! RAD is grateful for the generous support from all of the sponsors who make our free events possible.

#9: Bubbles & Games
From an inflatable obstacle course to giant bubble wands, Brilliant RiNo filled the Truss House lawn with vivid ways to play.
#10: A Colorful, Creative Community
Events such as Brilliant RiNo require the kind of art-loving, creatively-fueled community that we find across the RiNo Art District. Thank you to every neighbor, visitor, artist, vendor, and volunteer who helped ignite Brilliant RiNo — RAD’s work is rooted in celebrating and amplifying the artists, creative businesses, and communities within our region, and we cannot do that without you.
