The RiNo Art District’s Clean Team Ambassadors perform cleaning and maintenance services intended to enhance the appearance and attractiveness of RiNo’s public spaces that primarily include walkways and amenity zones (curb and gutter to building line), major pedestrian and bicyclist connections, and ArtPark. These services are provided within the boundaries of RiNo’s Business Improvement District (BID) and General Improvement District (GID).
The efforts of the Clean Team Ambassadors are consistent with RiNo’s philosophy that positive perceptions of the district as a clean, safe, and inviting place to work, live, and visit depend on continuous attention to maintenance activities to create a pedestrian-friendly atmosphere. RiNo currently employs CSG (Consolidated Services Group) to fulfill the needs of the Clean Team Ambassadors program, which includes a team of ambassadors who are out in the district on a daily-basis to provide services such as:
- Trash and recycling bin service
- Surface cleaning and sanitation
- Pressure washing
- Graffiti and poster removal from public amenities
- Miscellaneous maintenance and safety
- Pre- and/or post-event cleaning services
Our Clean Team Program now has the RiNo Clean app for community members to use to report cleaning and maintenance issues within the RiNo BID. Want to help us keep the district clean? Then download the RiNo Clean app on Google Play or Apple!
How to use the app to report issues:
- If you see a cleaning or maintenance issue, stop and open the RiNo Clean app.
- The app will locate you or you can enter your location manually.
- Take a photo of the issue and upload it to the app.
- Provide a general description of the issue.
- Leave your contact details so the Clean Team can notify you when the issue has been addressed.
- Submit your report.
- The Clean Team will receive your report and will address the issue if it's within the RiNo BID boundaries and within their scope of work.
Here are some examples of what can be reported:
- RiNo waste bins that need to be serviced
- Trash and litter on sidewalks and in amenity zones
- Messes or spills that need to be cleaned
- Tripping hazards in public areas
- Vandalism in public areas or on amenities

The map below shows the areas that are serviced by the Clean Team. Issues can be reported for public areas and streets highlighted in the dashed orange lines, the 35th Street pedestrian bridge, and the 38th Street underpass.
