July 2018 - Street Art Meets Safety Enhancements
Around the country cities are turning busy intersections into works of art! The RiNo Art District installed it's first creative crosswalk at 27th and Larimer in July of 2018 as a pilot project. The design was created to add color and vibrancy to this very busy intersection. This eye-catching design serves both as art and an enhanced safety tool for pedestrians and bike riders in the district.
Pending the success of these crosswalks, RiNo will commission additional crossings to be installed throughout the district. The crosswalks will enhance RiNo’s unique identity while making crossings safer for pedestrians.
