The Executive Director is in charge of overseeing the RiNo Art District’s strategic vision, non-profit and staff management, tax district work plans, infrastructure goals, advocacy, marketing and programming efforts. This position also leads organizational planning and decisions to further the district as a whole as a creative hub in Denver, Colorado. Championing economic development, creative and local business support, and community stewardship is an essential deliverable. The RiNo Art District, a 501 c(6), is the umbrella organization that also manages Keep RiNo Wild, a 501 c(3), and two special tax districts: the RiNo Business Improvement District (BID) and RiNo Denver General Improvement District (GID).

Duties also include collaborating with the district’s governing Boards, ensuring the financial health of all organizations, and managing relationships with stakeholders, creatives, businesses, developers, media and the general public.

The position reports directly to the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee.
