Senior Property Tax Exemption
A property tax exemption is available for Colorado residents who, by Jan. 1 of the year you apply, are age 65 or older, and have owned and lived in your home (as your primary residence) for 10 consecutive years or more. The Senior Exemption deadline has passed for 2021 (taxes payable in 2022). The City of Denver will begin accepting applications again Jan. 2nd, 2022. Details HERE
