a Denver-based nonprofit supporting the personal and professional growth of Colorado’s creative community currently seeking local business and organizational partners to sponsor its inaugural program

Transforming Creatives is a Denver-based nonprofit supporting the personal and professional growth of Colorado’s creative community through one-on-one mentoring, skill-building workshops, business and professional training, counseling, and soul care. As part of its programming, Transforming Creatives operates Converge Denver, a creative coworking community based in the RiNo Arts District.

Denver's creative community is rich in diversity and perspective. However, social, cultural, and financial barriers prevent many people and organizations from being included in the broader creative landscape. The need for an affordable workspace in which to nurture a business, art practice, or nonprofit mission is paramount. Further, access to a community of like-minded individuals provides critical networking, learning, and strategic opportunities. In an effort to meet these needs, Transforming Creatives is offering up to six months of subsidized coworking tenancy at Converge Denver to artists, entrepreneurs, nonprofits, or other creatives who identify or work in partnership with any of the following groups:

  • Individuals who experience a disability
  • Individuals who are refugees or asylees in the U.S.
  • Residents of the Globeville, Elyria-Swansea, Five Points, or Cole neighborhoods of Denver
  • Emerging artists under 25 years of age

Selected individuals will have full access to Converge Denver, a collaborative, community workspace designed to support creativity, productivity, and professional growth. In addition to basic office amenities, tenants have access to studio space, desk space, a highly-skilled, multidisciplinary community, trainings, workshops, and more. Converge Denver is located in the River North Arts District (RiNo), and this new program tightly aligns with the district’s initiative to maintain affordability while working to challenge and change the paradigm of gentrification.

We are currently seeking local business and organizational partners to sponsor this inaugural program. If your organization values the culture-shaping impact that artists, entrepreneurs, nonprofits, and other creatives have on our society, we’d love to talk with you about supporting their growth and flourishing through this effort.
