Brilliant RiNo

A Summer Solstice Celebration of Art, Light & Community

Brilliant RiNo invites the community to welcome summer with an immersive evening of music, light, art, and connection in the heart of RiNo Art District.

Taking place on the longest day of the year, this free community celebration begins outdoors on the lawn at Truss House with live music, lawn games, food and drinks, and playful activations designed to bring neighbors, artists, families, and visitors together in a joyful early-summer atmosphere. As daylight fades and the sun sets over the district, the event transforms into a vibrant nighttime experience centered around projection, sound, and immersive visual art.

Immersive Art & Interactive Projection Experiences

Inside Truss House, Denver-based immersive design studio Deep Space Drive-In presents large-scale projection mapping and experimental visual environments that reshape the space into a dynamic landscape of light and motion. Additional projection-based artists and interactive installations throughout the venue continue the evening’s exploration of illumination, reflection, color, and transformation.

A Celebration Rooted in RiNo

In 2026, RiNo Art District celebrates its 20th anniversary by entering a new chapter rooted in artists, public space, and experiences that invite people to see their city differently.

Brilliant RiNo is designed as a multi-generational, arts-forward community celebration that reflects the creative spirit of RiNo Art District. This curated artistic experience blends public gathering, immersive installation, performance, and nightlife into a single evolving environment.

Centered around themes of light and dark, seasonal transition, creativity, and collective joy, Brilliant RiNo marks the beginning of summer with an evening that is equal parts neighborhood gathering, immersive art experience, and celebration of the artists and creative energy that define RiNo.

Event Details & Experiences

Live music throughout the evening guides the event’s shift from golden-hour gathering to after-dark celebration.

Early evening performances start at 6 PM and feature Agent Jazz, a Denver quartet blending jazz standards, blues rock, spy-film soundtracks, New Orleans rhythms, and dark pop into a cinematic live set filled with energy, style, and unexpected turns.

As night falls, starting at 8 PM, Something Vinyl Club provides the soundtrack for the evening’s transition into night mode, bringing a high-energy DJ set that shifts the atmosphere into a vibrant after-dark celebration.

Throughout the evening, circus and cirque-style performers move through the event with illuminated and movement-based performances.

Food vendors and a full bar are available throughout the event; look for more details soon.

Walk/Bike/Park

Getting Here by Bike or On Foot

RiNo is one of Denver’s most bike-friendly neighborhoods, with bike lanes in both directions on Blake St and Larimer St, protected bike lanes on Brighton Blvd., and multiple pedestrian bridges connecting both sides of the rail lines.

That said, rail crossings in the district can occasionally present challenges for cyclists and guests with mobility needs. The elevators at the 35th St and 38th St pedestrian bridges are operated by RTD and occasionally experience outages. (Contact them here with concerns.)

We recommend checking your route in advance and allowing extra travel time if you’re biking or using mobility devices.

Public Transit

If arriving by bus, take the 48 line to the Brighton Blvd. & 35th Street stop. The ArtPark is one block west on 35th Street.

If arriving by train, take the A Line to 38th & Blake Station. From there, use the pedestrian bridge south of the station to cross the tracks, then head west along 35th St, crossing Brighton Blvd to reach RiNo ArtPark. The walk from the station is approximately 10–15 minutes.

Parking Information

There is no dedicated festival parking lot, but street parking is often available throughout the surrounding neighborhood, particularly along:

  • Delgany St
  • 35th St
  • Arkins Ct

Please pay attention to posted parking signs and residential restrictions.

There are several paid parking garages and lots located within a short walk of the venue, including:

Parking can be reserved in advance online for most of these lots and garages.

Accessibility & Wayfinding

We’re continuing to improve festival signage and wayfinding as the First Friday Festival series grows. If you experience accessibility barriers or have suggestions that would improve future events, we welcome your feedback. (events@rinoartdistrict.org)

RiNo Art District is a nonprofit arts organization producing the festival series, but some surrounding infrastructure — including bridges, elevators, sidewalks, and transit facilities — is maintained by city and regional partners. Community feedback helps us advocate for a more connected and accessible district for everyone.
