Dateline is delighted to announce Nightwalks, the latest solo endeavor of all new paintings by Denver based artist Alexander Richard Wilson. Nightwalks ponders the gradual decline of society through experienced thrilling moments in Denver’s urban landscape. With a focused lens on the absurd communal adoration of dogs in our public spaces at dusk, Wilson encourages viewers to immerse themselves in the enchanting twilight of the Spring season and luxuriate in Denver’s spring gloaming.
Alexander Richard Wilson (they/them), born in 1993, is an African American artist dedicated to exploring the condition of the contemporary American landscape amidst the upheavals brought about by climate change. Wilson received their Bachelor of Fine Arts from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2017, further honing their craft at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in 2022.
