Jessa Gilbert, Canadian artist and Burton Brand Ambassador, will be joining the RiNo Mural Program to help celebrate youth with an installation on the new Burton retail store at Walnut and 27th, July 14-24th. Jessa will be working with 6-10 youth from the Third Way Center as part of Burton's CHILL Foundation programming to help create her mural. A mural unveiling and dedication event will happen July 24th so stop by and see what the team has done!
The goal of the RiNo Mural Program is to continue working with a diverse group of local artists to facilitate monthly installations around the district so that each piece may receive proper recognition and the work that is done is more intentional on time and placement. All artists will be paid for their work at an industry standard rate. Providing reliable stipends in an unpredictable time helps keep art and artists at the heart of RiNo.
