The House of Asterion is a site-specific and site-responsive piece inspired by the works of Jorge Luis Borges and RiNo’s No Vacancy resident visual artist installations. The piece centers around a liturgical service in the great labyrinth of Babel. Audiences are invited to participate in a ceremony to relinquish their fears to the great library and be reborn into a world of hope and collective ambition. This project aims to explore and understand how to create a shared experience surrounding genuine reflection and ritualistic interactions.

About The Exposure Project

The Exposure Project is an immersive theater company that focuses on minimalistic immersive experiences. Much like designers, our intention is to look at immersive performance and deconstruct audience-driven interactions. Through researching the core principles of “immersive theater” we want to strip away the spectacle to learn how to deepen the audience engagement in the imagined worlds that we create. We do this by focusing our efforts on the use of and researching magic, technology, storytelling, and environmental design.
