General Event Policies

To ensure a safe and successful experience for all guests, RiNo Art District reserves the right to oversee and manage all events held at Truss House, including monitoring sound levels and determining security requirements when necessary.

  • Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside Truss House and throughout RiNo ArtPark.
  • Renters are responsible for the condition, safety, and proper use of the venue during their rental period, including the conduct of guests, vendors, contractors, and event staff.
  • A pre-event inspection and post-event walkthrough will be conducted to document the condition of the facility.
  • Rental agreements must include all setup, event, and tear-down time. Additional hours beyond the standard rental period may be available for an additional fee and must be approved in advance.
  • Truss House does not hold a liquor license. Organizations serving alcohol may be required to obtain a Special Event Liquor Permit through the City and County of Denver.

Cleaning Expectations

All event spaces must be returned in reasonably clean condition at the conclusion of the rental. During the final walkthrough, our team will verify that cleaning requirements have been met.

Depending on the nature of the event, renters may be responsible for:

  • Sweeping and spot cleaning floors
  • Removing trash, recycling, and compost
  • Cleaning kitchen, prep, and service areas
  • Removing event materials and personal belongings

Additional cleaning fees may apply if the venue is not returned to its original condition.
